Trumbull Woman Killed In Route 15 Crash

The woman's car hit a guardrail and then crashed into the center median barrier Sunday, according to police. She was pronounced dead Monday.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull woman was killed after a crash on Route 15 northbound Sunday afternoon.

Dawn Lupo, 50, was driving from Route 25 to Route 15 when her car traveled into the right shoulder and struck the wood beam guardrail, according to a crash report from state police.

The car then traveled across the right and left lanes and struck the jersey barrier in the center median.

Lupo was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries. She was pronounced dead on Monday.

The crash remains under investigation.
