Trumbull Woman Left Child In Car While Shopping: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — A 33-year-old woman is accused of leaving a child inside a car while shopping, Milford police said.

On June 22, Milford police responded to the parking lot of 15 Cherry St., on the report of a "baby left unattended in a vehicle," police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Lixia Voronetskis, of Country Club Road in Trumbull, who is accused of leaving a juvenile in her vehicle while she went in the store, police said.

She is charged with leaving a child under the age of 12 unattended. Her next court date is July 26.
