Trumbull's Bow Tie Cinema Set For Renovations

TRUMBULL, CT — The longstanding Bow Tie Cinemas in Trumbull is being tapped for a major makeover. The company announced Friday that the Trumbull theater will be transformed into a Bow Tie Ultimate Theater beginning after Labor Day. Luckily for area movie lovers, the theater will remain open during the renovations, according to a spokeswoman from Bow Tie Cinemas.

Among the renovations will be reserved luxury recliner seating in all auditoriums, as well as Dolby Atmos premium audio presentation. The theater will also be expanding its food and bar menu.

“Upon completion of the Bow Tie Ultimate Marquis in Trumbull, our valued guests can reserve a luxury recliner seat in advance, arrive at the theater at a convenient time without rushing, and enjoy great food and an adult beverage during the movie,” says Ben Moss, CEO of Bow Tie Cinemas in a press release. “Bow Tie Ultimate takes the movie-going experience to a whole new level, and we’re thrilled to continue to grow the Ultimate brand in Fairfield County.”

The new food items include artisanal pizza, gourmet mac & cheese, chicken & waffles and more.

Bow Tie recently launched two new luxury theaters in Norwalk.
