Oddly, no advisory has been issued for Hartford and Tolland counties where temps there are forecast to also be below 32 degrees on both Saturday and Sunday night.

The weather service’s forecast also reintroduces the term wind chill into its forecast, which gives you an indication summer is now in the rearview mirror.

Here is the detailed weekend weather forecast:

Friday, mostly sunny, beautiful fall day with temps in the mid 60s statewide

Saturday, sunny, definitely cooler with temps in the mid 50s

Saturday night, 36 degrees on the Connecticut Shoreline, but at or below freezing (32 degrees) for interior sections of the state.

Sunday, sunny but the coldest day of the year thus far. Temps will hover around 50 on the immediate Shoreline, but once you move just a bit inland, temps will peak in the upper 40s.

Sunday night, everyone in Connecticut should be around 32 degrees or freezing. Interior sections of the state will remain in the upper 20s.

Have a great weekend.
