New Road Fitness, which opened in spring on Monroe Turnpike, has closed.
The last day was Friday, Dec. 6, said Director Randy Gussin.
The fitness center used state-of-the-art technology and professionals to craft exercise routines specific to users. Their routines were electronically stored and user-specific keys were issued.
But its plan to get customers through doctor referral fell through, Gussin said.
"The doctor referrals just weren’t coming in like we needed," he said.
Customers will be issued pro-rated refunds, Gussin added.
