WEATHER UPDATE: Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for Trumbull

We wrote on Tuesday that this was shaping up to be a stormy weather week and that appears to be the case as the National Weather Service has issued a “Severe Thunderstorm Watch” in effort for all of Fairfield County until 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Additionally, a Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for Fairfield County, according to the National Weather Service.

According to the NWS, sunny skies will change quickly this afternoon, and winds could gust up to 23 mph.

The showers and thunderstorms could last until midnight, and more showers and thunderstorms are still possible on Thursday, especially between noon and 4 p.m.
