A To Z PetShop To Open Store In Trumbull

TRUMBULL, CT — A to Z PetShop, which currently has a store in Orange, has leased 4,200 square feet of retail space to open a new store in Trumbull, according to commercial real estate firm Colonial Properties, Inc, which brokered the lease deal.

The new store will be at 41 Monroe Turnpike under a five-year lease. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Patch reached out to A to Z PetShop for comment, but did not immediately receive a reply.

Fred Messore, senior vice president at Colonial Properties, represented A to Z, while Jason Wuchiski with TRUE Commercial represented the building's owner, 41 Monroe Turnpike, LLC.

The A to Z lease deal is one of several Colonial has closed in Trumbull, West Haven and Orange in recent weeks, according to the Orange-based company's president, Michael Richetelli.

"We continue to see robust activity in the commercial markets as the pandemic subsides and businesses are stabilizing and adapting to a new business climate," Richetelli said in a statement. "The most activity is in the light industrial sector, while retail is also benefitting from some repositioning."
