7th Arrest Made In Vernon Apartment Complex Brawl/Shooting Case
Another teen has been charged in connection with a shooting at a Vernon apartment complex.

VERNON, CT — A New York City teen has been charged in connection with a shooting last month at the Park West apartment complex in Vernon.
Three adults and three juveniles have already been charged in connection with the incident.
Vernon police said that 18-year-old Kwame Nyarko-Attah of the Bronx was turned over to them by New York Authorities. A warrant for his arrest had been issued, police said.

Nyarko-Attah has been charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree assault and criminal liability
to commit first-degree assault.
Nyarko-Attah was held being held on a $200,000 court set bond and was to be arraigned in Rockville Superior Court, GA 19 on June 30.

The shooting took place at 4:15 p.m. on May 11 at the Park West housing complex off Terrace Drive. One man was found with several gunshot wounds.
According to case records, it was related to a brawl several days earlier.
Two rival groups of "young adults" were involved, police said.
