Annual Harvest Festival Returns to Strong Family Farm

Food & Fun on the Farm October 16, 2021.

(Strong Family Farm)

The 7th Annual Harvest Festival is coming up on Saturday, October 16, 10:00am–4:00pm. We are celebrating together in person again after a year of challenges and virtual events. The Annual Harvest Festival is a tradition featuring the sale of locally made crafts and great food from many food trucks. With a collaboration with Petrillo’s Events, more vendors than ever before are joining us this year! The event is free and includes lots of fun for the whole family.

At the Festival, we will announce the winners of the Annual Scarecrow Contest and have a goodbye parade for of hens (and one rooster this year!) from the Backyard Chicken Program. The Farm Store will be open with end-of-season sales and goods from local growers and producers. Plus, we’ll have activities, demonstrations, and farm animal friends from Assuakita Acres Farm for everyone to meet!

Join us for a day of activities, food, and more at Strong Family Farm, 274 West Street, Vernon.
