Community mobilizes for Hockanum Brew Fest in Rockville

From the great weather to setup, the event itself, and breakdown, the first annual Hockanum Brew Fest went off without a hitch at 200 West Main Street in Rockville on Saturday. Feedback from attendees, brewers, food truck operators, exhibitors, sponsors, advertisers, officials and media outlets has been overwhelmingly positive. The new brew fest attracted people from across the region, showcasing the Hockanum Mill and the significant, ongoing progress being made throughout this historic, former textile mill city. The Hockanum Brew Fest Committee and the Rockville Community Alliance, which organized the event, thanks everyone who was involved in some way. Copies of the official, 12-page Souvenir Program are available, and preparations will be underway soon for the 2019 brew fest.
