CT Scouts Invite Boys to Build an Adventure -- Sept. 10 'Joining Night'

Scouting wants you! Now is the time to join the fun and excitement of America’s foremost youth program for boys—Scouting. On the evening of Sept. 10 the Cub Scouts will hold local Joining Nights throughout the state. Find your local event at ctrivers.org/Join.
Scouting is for boys in the first grade through high school. The program combines outdoor activities, sports, academics, and more in a fun and exciting program that helps families teach ideals such as honesty, good citizenship, and respect. Last year, more than 50,000 youth participated in Scouting programs across Connecticut!

At the meeting boys will have an opportunity to meet other Scouts and interested boys and participate in a game. Parents can learn more about Scouting and how Scouting can benefit their child as well as meet the local volunteers in their town. Families are invited too! For the first time Girl Scouts will also attend these event so that the entire family can find the community based, leadership, citizenship, and healthy lifestyle organization that will benefit their child.
