Daisy A. Garrett is a University of Connecticut Law (UConn Law) Dean's Scholar 2L student and Phi Alpha Delta Starr member. She graduated from Lasell College in Massachusetts with double degrees; B.A. in Legal Studies minor in Political Science and a B.A. in Communications concentration in Public Relations in 2017 with honors (Tolland High School 2013). Daisy began college by completing night classes at Manchester Community College, while in 10th to 12th grade.

Recently, Daisy was selected to join the Connecticut Journal of International Law. "Our new members each impressed during the write-on competition and we're lucky to have them on our team." - S. Lagrossi

In addition, she's the newly elected Events Chairperson for the 2019-2020 Black Law Students Association E-Board and was elected to the University of Connecticut Law Diversity Committee 2019-2020 Executive Board.

Daisy was accepted into the coveted UConn Law Criminal Trial Clinic. While in the clinic she will work as a Certified Legal Intern, representing clients in criminal state court.

In her spare time, Daisy enjoys traveling, visiting with friends, drawing, music 0, reading and her dog Myya. How does she accomplish so much? Daisy said, "knowing what's important, organization, a modified L.E.A.N. process, an excellent support system via friends, administrators and my parents Albert and Merry Garrett".
