Dec. 16-17 Snowstorm: Extended Parking Ban Issued In Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The snowstorm forecast to run from Wednesday into Thursday has prompted an extended parking ban in Southington.

Here's the message from police:

"Due to the impending snowfall and to allow crews to clear the roadways, the town of Southington and the Southington Police Department will be implementing a parking ban on all streets effective at 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2020. The ban will run until 6 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2020. Take note that this ban also extends to the municipal parking lots."
