Driver Accused Of Intentionally Ramming Other Vehicle In Vernon

A woman is facing several charges after a car-ramming incident in Vernon, police said.

VERNON, CT — A 23-year-old Vernon woman is accused of intentionally ramming a vehicle with her car and is facing five criminal charges as a result, according to an arrest report.

Police released a report on the weekend incident Thursday.

At 8:20 p.m. Saturday, police went to Neil Road after receiving a report that someone was intentionally ramming other vehicles with her car. Julia Jan Philbrick was then taken into custody and charged with first-degree criminal mischief second-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and evading responsibility, according to an arrest report.
