Thanks to those of you who have renewed your membership or are new members and have joined the Friends. If you are an existing member and have not sent in your dues, this is a reminder to mail them into the library including Friends on the envelope and be sure to make any checks out to The Friends of Rockville Public Library. If you need an application and would like to join the Friends, you can find an application online at RockvillePublicLibrary.org under Support and then click on the Friends. Applications can also be obtained in the library on Mon., Wed., and Fri. by appt. only.
The Friends also remind you that fundraising has been difficult this last year and continues since our library is not open except by appt., and we are not able to hold meetings for the safety of our members. We again ask that you send any bottle return slips to the library or drop them off at the library to the attention of the Friends. At this time with the funds that we raise, we continue to purchase the Book Page and museum passes. The list of Museum passes can be found online at RockvillePublicLibrary.org under Books and More with most available to be printed. If not available for printing, an appt. can be made at the library to pick up the pass. We suggest that before you obtain your pass, to call the museum and find our their virus rules, days, and hours.
