Gospel Doo-Wop singer returning to Rockville on May 4

Fun flashback to the music of the 1950's, with an inspirational twist

Jacob’s Well Coffeehouse, downtown Rockville’s monthly Christian nightclub, will feature an encore performance of Gospel Doo-Wop by singer Walter Santos from Los Angeles on Friday, July 18. Doors open at 7, with music beginning at 7:30 pm. The café-style coffeehouse will be held at Bev’s Corner Drop-in Center, 3 Elm Street. Admission and refreshments are free. Dress is casual and the facility is handicapped-accessible.

Santos grew up in New York City and became a talented live concert and studio percussionist, performing with Weather Report, Charlie Daniels, Marshall Tucker and The Outlaws. However, the fast life of sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll led him to drug addiction. Come hear how he was delivered and has lived a radically transformed life.

Over the years, Santos has performed several times at Jacob’s Well. For details and directions, please call 860.871.6500 or visit www.JacobsWellCoffeehouse.com.
