Jazz Saxophonist to Perform in Rockville on March 3

Free Coffeehouse is held in quaint 1800s storefront across from Central Park

Jacob’s Well Coffeehouse, downtown Rockville’s monthly Christian nightclub, will feature jazz saxophonist Joe Wilson on Friday, March 3. Doors open at 7 p.m. with music starting at 7:30 p.m. The
quaint café-style coffeehouse will be held at Bev’s Corner Drop-in Center, an historic 1800s storefront located at 3 Elm Street in the Rockville section of Vernon. Admission and refreshments are free. Dress
is casual. The facility is handicapped-accessible.

Wilson is a gifted saxophonist and composer who grew up in Monson, Massachusetts. His passion for music was sparked by playing the recorder as a child. When he picked up an alto saxophone, his life was changed. Over the years, his musical skills expanded to include the tenor saxophone, keyboard, vocals, composing and recording. In addition to producing several original CD's, he has scored soundtracks for two films and was
the recipient of a 2005 Urban Independent Music Award for Best Jazz Artist.
