Letter: Endorsing Kevin Brown in Vernon

To The Editor,

The strength of its schools is the foremost indicator of the success of a community. The vitality of a town is measured by the number of young families that choose to invest in the community and its education system.

In this regard, Vernon is no exception. Our community is in need of fresh perspectives and new ideas on the Board of Education. Kevin Brown brings exactly that to the table. As the father of two young children and as a high school social studies teacher, he possesses the perfect amount of investment in our schools coupled with the knowledge of what works best in our classrooms.

This is exactly the level of experience that will lead Vernon Public Schools down the road to success. We strongly urge you to vote Kevin Brown for Vernon Board of Education on Nov. 7.
