Letter: Endorsing Laurie Bajorek in Vernon

To the Editor,

I am writing this letter as an endorsement for Laurie Bajorek as a candidate for the Vernon Board of

Education.

The perspective of this letter is not to drive a political agenda — it is not coming from a Republican or
Democratic viewpoint. The purpose of it, instead, is to illustrate the passion, hard work and countless
hours I have personally witnessed my wife put into her role as a volunteer on the Board.

Yes, this endorsement is coming from the viewpoint of a husband — a husband, who at times, gets tired
of the late night and weekend meetings, be they BOE, PTO, or Family Engagement Committee ... a husband
who also may get tired of hearing about every detail of what is going on with the schools, town
government, etc.

However, it also comes from a person who sees how much care and commitment is being put into
making our school system and town the best it can possibly be. Laurie’s only agenda is to create the
best schools and administration to benefit our children, and for future children and families of this town.

I am endorsing Laurie Bajorek, because it is unfathomable to me that any other individual could put
more of themselves into this appointment. This is why I could not be more proud of my wife for
everything she has done — and wants to do to for this town.
