Letter: In Support of Anne Fischer

To the Editor:

I would like to show my support for Anne Fischer, who is running for the Vernon Board of Education.

Why would you want to volunteer countless hours to your community? Because it's your community. No

extra pay, no mileage reimbursement, just volunteering your time to help better the community.

I met Anne years ago at a Skinner Rd School PTO meeting when my oldest daughter was a student there and
was impressed with her knowledge of not only the Vernon school system but various other topics.

One of the attributes that impressed me the most was the ability to listen and find a compromising solution
to a variety of issues facing our students in the Vernon public school system.

Anne is always willing to listen to your concerns or point of view even if it's not something she agrees with. Anne is visible at many school events throughout the school year. She is a politician who works for us, not the other way around. Anne is approachable, dependable, and reliable.

That is why I'll be voting for Anne Fischer.
