Lucky Taco Restaurant Expanding Into Vernon
A popular Tex-Mex restaurant in Manchester is about to have a sister eatery in Vernon.

VERNON, CT — The owners of the popular Tex-Mex Restaurant Lucky Taco are expanding into Vernon at a busy plaza off Route 30.
The cryptic but enthusiastic announcement was made late Friday afternoon on Facebook by owners Erin and David Emmons. It simply said "What's happening here ... coming very soon ... Lucky Taco Vernon ..."
The accompanying image clearly shows the former Nature's Grocer building at the plaza at 81 East St., also at the intersection of routes 30 and 31.

According to its profile, "Lucky Taco is a sweet Main Street spot serving unique and flavorful gourmet tacos. Chef David Emmons bends the idea of the traditional Tex-Mex taco into a fresh and delicious creation."
