Man Shot At Vernon Motel 6, Dies Short Time Later: Police
Vernon police are investigating a fatal shooting at a local motel.
VERNON, CT — Vernon police are investigating a fatal shooting at the local Motel 6.
The motel is located at 51 Hartford Turnpike.
Police said the incident was reported on Sunday afternoon. Both the victim and suspect are being described by police as "adult males.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he later died and the suspect is in custody, police said.
