TOLLAND, CT — Tolland officials Monday announced a major policy change for town buildings and facilities — no more masks.

Beginning Tuesday, masks will no longer be required for all those who who have been fully vaccinated. The Eastern Highlands Health District defines a fully vaccinated as two weeks after a final vaccine has been administered.

Those who haven’t been fully vaccinated should continue to wear a mask within town buildings, officials said.

The policy does not apply to Tolland public school system buildings, officials said.

Those who wish to wear masks are welcomed to still do so, officials said.
