New Vernon Assistant Superintendent of Schools Announced

The new Assistant Superintendent of Schools has served the Vernon Public School system for over 11 years.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mary P. Conway has announced the assignment of Robert Testa as the Assistant Superintendent of Schools, effective Aug. 1.

Testa brings 21 years of teaching and leading experience and has developed strong expertise in the areas of curriculum and instructional leadership.

He has served the Vernon Public Schools for over 11 years as an assistant principal, elementary principal, STEM Coordinator, and most recently as the Director of Teaching and Learning.

As Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, he will continue to support the development of all adult and student learners.

Testa received his sixth-year in professional education from the University, his master of education from the University of Hartford, and his bachelor of science from Keene State College.
