Norah's Place named RDA Business of the Month
Founded from scratch 29 years ago, the assisted living center now consists of four buildings on Elm Street
During a ceremony earlier today, Norah’s Place was named Rockville Downtown Association (RDA) Business of the Month for March 2018.
Founder Norah Gadomski is a remarkable woman with an abundance of energy. Born and raised in Ireland during the violent years, Norah came to the United States alone at age 18 to become a governess for two children living in West Hartford. She and her late husband Bernie started Norah’s Place 29 years ago.
Norah’s Place is an assisted living facility for the elderly that has grown to include four adjacent buildings on Elm Street in Rockville. At any given time, the combined facilities have approximately 50 residents.
