'Overwhelmed, Overjoyed': Anonymous Donor Helps Family Get Wheelchair Van

Gift means family of six can get around more easily.

For the Dyment family, it really was the taking part that counted.

Becky and Dave Dyment entered a competition to get their 7-year old son, Justin, a wheelchair accessible van. But a few days after entering the competition they had a call on behalf of an anonymous donor offering to donate a brand new van, according to The Hartford Courant

"I was overwhelmed, overjoyed. I couldn't believe it!" Becky Dyment told the Courant.

The Dyments picked up the customized vehicle worth $60,000 on Monday. "It's just so far above and beyond anything we could have hoped for," Dave Dyment told the Courant. "It's going to allow us to include Justin everywhere we go.”
