Picture Tolland: A Unique Grave Marker
The latest installment of the Picture Tolland series.

TOLLAND, CT — The latest installment of the Picture Tolland series takes us to a unique gravestone.
It marks the grave of Revolutionary War veteran Medad Kellogg, who was a local hat maker.
This monument is made of zinc, which is also known as "white bronze," and is located in the East Cemetery in Tolland's Skungamaug Village. Historical Society officials believe it to be the only such marker in town.
