RDA organizes tour of expanded Swiss Cleaners facility
Long-time, 4th generation family business serves customers across CT, MA and RI
On April 5, the Rockville Downtown Association (RDA) organized a fascinating tour of the main Swiss Cleaners facility in Rockville. Bruce Kloter and Eric Kloter each took half of the attendees on a guided tour of the recently-expanded complex, from front to back. The 4th-generation family-owned business employs 105 people, including 50 employees at their main facility. While most people know them for their dry cleaning, 75% of their business consists of uniform services for about 900 companies across Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Altogether, they clean about 20,000 garments per week. That's a lot of dirty laundry! Many thanks for the Kloters' hospitality and for all they've done to create a good, local business.
