Rockville High School Girls Geared Up For State Meet

A pair of Ram athletes set new personal bests last week, just prior to this weekend's Class M championships.

VERNON, CT — As indoor track athletes from Rockville High School prepare for Saturday's Class M championships, a pair of Ram girls head into state competition on a roll after breaking personal records last week.

At the NCCC indoor track championships on Jan. 29, Alyssa Sirianna set a new personal best in the 55-meter hurdles, posting a time of 9.53. She is seeded 15th for the Class M meet.

That same day, Kyleigh Percy set a new personal standard in the 1,000 meters, finishing in 3:18.96. She is the No. 22 seed out of 52 qualifiers in her event. She is also seeded 18th in the 1,600 meters.
