"I said why not a farm stand? There are not a lof of farm stands in Vernon, especially on Route 83," Kobs said.
The owners of Michelle's Florals at 555 Talcottville Road, the local address for that part of Route 83, said they'd let Kobs use a corner of the parking lot. She gets up every morning and visits area farms to pick up fruits and vegetables and opens the stand shortly after. She stays until about 5 p.m.
