Scratch Ticket Bought At Vernon Supermarket Turns Into $10,000

VERNON, CT — A scratch ticket acquired at a Vernon supermarket turned into a big CT Lottery payout for a local player.

On March 1, Vernon resident David Carilli cashed in a $10,000 winning ticket for the Red Hot Riches scratch game.

He bought the ticket at the Shoprite store located in the Tr-City Plaza in Vernon.
