Special Sermon Series on Relationships at Union Church
Very helpful for people who want to improve relationships with their spouse, children, extended family, friends and the community

Much of our quality of life pertains to the quality of our interpersonal relationships. To help people to build constructive relationships with spouses, children, extended family, friends and the community, Union Church will feature a special two-week sermon series on Sunday, April 23 and 30 at 10 a.m. entitled Clashing & Trashing: Walking through the Relationship Abyss. The sermon series, which is open to the public, will be presented by Union Church Council member Drew Crandall. Union Church is a non-denominational, Christ-centered faith-based community at 3 Union Street in the historic Rockville section of Vernon. Dress is casual. The facility is handicapped-accessible.
"Arguments, disagreements and conflicts are part of real human life in this fallen world," says Crandall; "People are complicated and to some degree, self-centered. Each of us has an unique perspective that has been built through the many days and experiences of our lives; through family and friends who have influenced us, for good or for bad. We all have thoughts and emotions that make us passionate about particular issues or situations. We all have personalities, from quiet and introverted to loud and extroverted. We’re all imperfect people living in an imperfect world. In today's wired, 24/7 culture, walking through the relationship abyss as people clash with and trash each other requires a great deal of wisdom, discernment, self-control and intuition."
