Bats, Bees and Bunnies at Strong Family Farm
Bees, bats, bunnies, on at the farm on this Sunday!
Oct. 6th will feature Jessica Donovan, RHS Agriculture Science Technology Education student will be talking about her bee project at the farm. She will be joined by Carissa Horton working on her Girl Scout Gold Award speaking on her bat project on the farm, and the Hop-A-Long Gang 4-H Club that meets at the farm with their bunnies and seeking new members. They will have their bunnies with them for all to see! Come learn all about bats, bees and bunnies from these amazing students who are dedicated and so knowledgeable about their passions!
Strong Family Farm is located in Vernon Center - the big yellow barn on 274 West Street next to the Vernon Police Station. The store is open Wed-Fri from 1-5, Sat. 10-2 and Sun. 11-3 and sells only CT grown and produced items. Visit and support your community farm!
