Vernon Arrests Include Reckless Driving, Driving While Intoxicated

July 14
Santos Alexis Serrano, 35, of 45 Charlotte St. Apt. 2 in Worcester, was clocked on I-84 east in the area of exit 64 traveling 98 miles per hour in a posted 65 mile per hour zone. Serrano subsequently sped up to approximately 105 miles per hour after a state police cruiser pulled out to initiate a traffic stop. The registration was determined to be suspended for lack of insurance. Serrano was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle and recklexx driving operating >85 miles per hour.

July 17
At approximately 8:20 p.m., Christopher Pellerin, 30, of 60 Oak St. in South Windsor, was arrested in the Route 30/83 commuter lot in Vernon. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. He was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Rockville Superior Court on Aug. 3.
