Vernon Cops Corral 'Erratic' Car With Stolen Municipal Plate
A Manchester man is facing six charges after a wild ride in a car with a stolen municipal plate in Vernon, police said.

VERNON, CT — A Manchester man wound up with a half-dozen criminal charges after a wild ride in a vehicle with a stolen Massachusetts municipal plate ended in Vernon, a police report indicates.
A report in the Nov. 24 incident was released Monday. At 9:02 p.m. that day, Vernon police were alerted to a gold Toyota Camry being driven erratically on the Exit 65 eastbound off-ramp, according to a report. The car had on it a Massachusetts municipal plate, according to a report.
The car was stopped at the Vernon Circle Shopping center at 243 Hartford Turnpike and the operator, identified as 34-year-old Manchester resident Gabriel Medina, was arrested, according to a report.

Medina was charged with:
- Theft of plates
- Driving under the influence
- Driving without a license
- Improper use of plates
- Possession of controlled substance
- Sixth-degree larceny
