Vernon Manor Receives Donations

The Apostolic Christian Church and its National Church Outreach, Harvest Call, recently donated 200 refurbished gowns and face masks to Vernon Manor Health Care Center. The donations, made over a two-week period, consisted of adding sleeves to medical gowns and creating masks from scratch. The masks were delivered with multiple filters with washing instructions in Ziplock bags. Pictured wearing a refurbished gown and mask is Colleen Luginbuhl, a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Ellington who said, "Vernon Manor has taken care of a lot of our church family over the years. We are very grateful for their support and felt this was an opportunity to give back."
