VERNON, CT — Schools in Vernon will revert to remote learning status next week while heading into the holiday break.

Remote (also known as virtual) learning days are slated for Dec. 21, 22 and 23.

One reason is administrative. The system simply does not have enough staffing to fully and efficiently operate all the schools because of quarantines, education officials said.
