Vernon Slates Memorial Day Ceremonies
Vernon has no parade in 2021, but will observe the fallen in three Memorial Day ceremonies.

VERNON, CT — Though the traditional parade was officially called off Wednesday, Vernon is going ahead with ceremonies to honor those who died serving the nation.
The main Memorial Day ceremony is slated for noon in Central Park across from town hall on May 31. Those planning to attend should arrive 15 minutes early.
The American Legion will also be taking wreaths to St. Bernard’s Cemetery at 10 a.m. and Lugg Field in Grove Hill Cemetery at 11 a.m.
