VERNON, CT — Students at Rockville High School and Vernon Center Middle School were back in their respective buildings Monday as the local recovery from the coronavirus pandemic continued.

Aside from a slight traffic jam at dismissal time at RHS, there were very little problems throughout the court of the day, Vernon Superintendent of School Joseph Macary said.

The schools had been on virtual status since the outbreak of the pandemic about a year ago. Students from half the alphabet attended classes two days a week and students from the other half went to school in person on Thursday and Fridays.
