Vernon Patch Letter: A Vote for Winkler

VERNON, CT — To the Editor:

Communication is so important in our lives and we are so fortunate to have our state representative Michael Winkler who can easily be reached by phone, home 860-875-3149, cell 860 966-6781 or by email michael.winkler@cga,ct.gov with almost same day responses.

A few examples of the work Michael has accomplished for the people of Vernon are making sure that funding for Dial A Ride continues, working through the DOT to highlight the "gems" of Vernon by requiring the state to place the brown signs on Rt. 30 for the Art Center East, Strong Farm,the Vernon Historical Society, and our Civil War Museum, and working to lower our state income tax on pensions and social security.

Michael believes in our town and in home ownership which helps to keep Vernon a vibrant community. He is proud to serve Vernon and if you have questions, contact Michael and you will receive an answer.
