2 Police Officers Fired In Wallingford: Report

Two police officers were fired from the Wallingford Police Department last month, the Meriden Record-Journal reported.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Two Wallingford police officers were fired last month after separate Internal Affairs investigations found they had violated departmental policies, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports William Bugbee, who transferred from the Hartford Police Department, was still on probationary status when he was fired.

Jeffrey Acheychek, a nearly seven-year veteran of the department, will have a hearing with the town’s human resources director after a union grievance was denied, according to the Record-Journal.
