Allnex Hosts Workshop For Wallingford Public School Teachers
"When we educate teachers, we know that we are, in turn, educating hundreds of Wallingford students."

From Allnex Wallingford:
WALLINGFORD, CT - The allnex Wallingford site recently hosted eleven Wallingford Public School science teachers for a science workshop, developed and led by the Kellogg Environmental Center of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). In addition to attending the workshop, teachers toured the allnex facility, learning more about its innovative product lines and environmental improvement efforts.
Wallingford teachers participated in both Project WILD and Project WET programs. The Project WILD program focuses on wildlife and habitat while the Project WET program examines water’s role in the social and cultural contexts and as a managed resource. The DEEP’s award-winning environmental curriculum offers effective methods for teaching problem solving and decision-making, teaching how to think, not what to think.
