Animal Trap Stolen From Wallingford Animal Control
Officials say the traps are expensive and an essential tool that they use daily… and they want it back.
WALLINGFORD, CT — An animal trap was stolen from the Wallingford Animal Control and officials want it back — with no questions asked.
“We let someone borrow two of our Havahart traps to catch their indoor kitty that got out my mistake,” the animal control wrote in a post on Facebook. “They caught their cat, and returned both traps after hours. We have confirmation that they did indeed return both traps. They left them by our door.
“We are VERY upset that someone STOLE one of our traps. These traps are expensive, and we use them daily. It is an essential tool that we use. Sometimes, we allow people to borrow traps, but we always make sure to collect their information so that we can get them back. We only have a few, and they are like gold to us.
