Beatles Music Festival Returning To Wallingford
Organizers announce the band lineup for the Fab 4 Music Festival, which will be held in Wallingford for the second straight year.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The popular Beatles-themed “Fab 4 Music Festival” is returning to Wallingford this June. The regional event will once again "come together" at the Toyota Oakdale Theater, Liverpool Productions announced. The festival will be held on Saturday, June 9. There will be two stages of performances, enabling twice as many acts to perform during the festival hours. Half of the 20 groups will be performing indoors, under the Dome, while the other half will be playing outside on the "Octopus' Garden" patio, according to a press release. The hours are 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. and there is plenty of free parking. Read more from the press release below:
The popular New York/New England regional Beatles-themed festival, known in past years as "Danbury Fields Forever," is a family-friendly Music, Foods & Arts Festival featuring the music of The Beatles, their solo material and classic songs from the 60s.
The bands playing under the Dome at this year's festival include Connecticut's Penny Lane, Number Nine, The Taxmen, Rotary, Take Two & Call Me In The Morning, Double The Dial, Corporation TeeShirt and headliners The Hofners. New York's Beatlehead and Pat Horgan's Thunder Road are also playing the main stage.

Outside patio artists include Dramatic Turn's Brideau & Miller, Fools On The Hill Sal & Alan, Dizzyfish Acoustic with Eric Herbst, Suns of Walrus and The Navels - all from CT. Rounding out the outdoor stage acts are Scott Ringle from NJ and David Tessier's Pre-Fab Monkees All-Star Show from MA.
Only one band will have the honor of playing both stages, and they are the first international group to ever perform at the festival: The Breets are flying in from Mexico to make their U.S. debut.

In 1968 The Beatles produced their most whimsical work, "Yellow Submarine," as both an album and theatrical animated film, and also recorded their most intense collection of songs, "The White Album." In celebration of the 50th anniversary of these historic releases and the year 1968, advance "Ticket to Ride" general admissions are only $19.68. There are also V.I.P. tickets available. Note that admission will be higher at the door. Advance tickets available at Ticketmaster.
Along with the great entertainment of 20 bands, there will be Beatles and music memorabilia dealers & vendors, exhibitors, kid-friendly activities, along with food trucks and other attractions. One additional national act will complete the band lineup and a Special Guest of Honor will be announced soon.
The "Fab 4 Music Festival" on Saturday, June 9, 2018, is presented by Live Nation is association with Liverpool Productions, the same Beatles fan club that presented "NYC FAB 50: The Beatles' 50th Anniversary Celebration" in New York City, and have produced the Connecticut Beatles Conventions since 1978.
