What: New Haven Fireworks

Where: Atop East Rock

When: Sunday, July 4 at 9 p.m. Rain date is July 5.

Details: Official viewing is from Wilbur Cross High School, with music, and food trucks but people should be able to see the fireworks from anywhere in the city with a view of the monument atop East Rock Park. The summit of East Rock and the Davis Street/Farnum Drive parking lot will be closed July 4. The show will be broadcast live on WTNH.com.

The 29th Annual Great American Boom fireworks celebration in New Britain will be taking place on July 4th at Willow Brook Park. Pre-registration is required through the New Britain Parks and Recreation Department. Fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m. Call (860) 826-3360 for more information on how to pre-register.
