Hockey Coach Steps Down At Lyman Hall

The Trojans won the CIAC Division III championship last month.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Just weeks after leading the Lyman Hall co-op hockey team to the CIAC Division III championship, Rich Minnix has stepped down as head coach, CT HS Hockey reports.

Minnix, who coached the Trojans to a 71-63-3 over six seasons, told GameTimeCT.com that it was “kind of sad” to be leaving his alma mater but cited travel and being away from his newborn daughter as factors in his decision.
