Driver Identified In Fatal Rollover Crash In Wallingford
One person was killed in a crash on I-91 in Wallingford on Wednesday morning.
WALLINGFORD, CT — A Florida woman was killed in a rollover crash on I-91 North in Wallingford on Wednesday morning, according to Connecticut State Police. The crash happened around 6:40 a.m. between Exits 14 and 15 on I-91 North.
Kristie Ann White, 44, was driving a Honda in the center lane of three near Exit 14 when she veered into the left lane and struck a Ford F350 Super Duty truck, according to police.

The Honda continued to the left, entered the center grass median and overturned several times before crossing over the metal beam guard and coming to a stop in the left lane on I-91 South, according to police.
White was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the Ford and the two passengers weren’t injured.

A portion of the highway was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
