Kick for a Cause at 9Round on Oct. 24

A Wallingford business wants to kick breast cancer. 

On Thursday, Oct. 24, every kick at 9Round 30 Min Kickbox Fitness is going to count toward more than a great workout – owners Shaun Berner and Tina Valaouras will donate a penny for every kick to breast cancer research.

"As you can guess, it will really add up," said Berner. 

All are welcome to participate in the event and members and non-members can go through the workout for free, counting their kicks as they work their way through the nine rounds.

The Wallingford location, which opened this past June, is located at 665 North Colony Road.

"We're very excited to be a part of this event," said Berner. "We hope to have our current members and new members come on out to help us raise money for a great cause."
