A Long-Lasting Impact at Square Foot Theatre

"The Square Foot Theatre has changed my life for the better. It has become another family for me, a creative outlet. It is a sanctuary, a place where myself, and many others, feel welcome, safe and above all else, loved for who they are. Square Foot isn't just a theatre to me, it's a family. It is a beautiful community that is so welcoming, warm and loving to everyone that walks through their doors. To have a place for the arts like this in the community is completely incredible. I think everyone and anyone that experiences theatre or performance art at Square Foot (whether they are a performer, volunteer, patron, etc.) comes out of it, not only as a better person, but feeling more whole than they did before. Square Foot Theatre has helped me grow as a person. I have met so many amazing people along the journey that is Square Foot and I consider them family. I don't know what I would do, or where I would be, without them in my life. I can wholeheartedly say that it is a completely positive and loving environment filled with some of the best people I know and I wouldn't have it any other way. I can say so many more wonderful things about Square Foot Theatre, but the beauty of it all can honestly not be put into words. It's all in the experience!!! I love Square Foot Theatre and can't wait until I can walk through those doors again to my home away from home!"

In 13 seasons the impact Square Foot Theatre has created is inspiring, as actors, of all ages and backgrounds, continually share their life-changing experiences. As our staff and Board of Directors work hard each and every day to enrich the lives of everyone who walks through our doors, these stories push us to dream bigger. This past year, through the support of our community, we took our biggest leap yet. Opening the Square Foot Tavern provided more opportunities for actors to explore their craft, while creating a safe, welcoming space to gather and enjoy the company of SFT Family.
