Man Arrested On Drug, Weapons Charges: Wallingford Police
K-9 Tate helped police find marijuana, THC cartridges and wax, along with a metal baton and gun, during a traffic stop in Wallingford.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A Wallingford man was arrested after police said he was found to be in possession of drugs and weapons during a traffic stop on Monday evening.
A patrol officer conducted the stop around 6:15 p.m. on South Colony Road and saw “several indicators of criminal activity,” according to police.
With the assistance of K-9 Tate, police seized around 10 ounces of marijuana, nine THC cartridges, 2.2 grams of THC wax, a metal baton, a Glock firearm and about $8,500 in cash believed to be from drug sales, according to officials.

The driver, 24-year-old Anthony Damore, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell, weapons in a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, following too close and traveling unreasonably fast.
He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of March 15.
